30/07/87: 47004 at Blackpool North to work 1M51. If you weren't already aware, the grassy area behind the loco was once tracks leading into the main platform area of the station, the eight platforms that remain including this one were the 'excursion' platforms. The former main station area is now a Wilkinsons D.I.Y. superstore, and the grassy area is a car park for an Apollo 2000 store and Mecca bingo. Copyright: Phil Grint
