25/03/90: 47641 at Edinburgh Waverley after arrival with 1S77 sleeper on this morning. It had worked the train from Glasgow Central to Edinburgh in tamdem with 47421, which had just been unhooked when the photo was taken. This train was load 17 and booked a pair every Sunday morning. 05/05/90: 47219 being removed from 1T15 near Hartlepool which it had worked from Seaton on Tees Power Station. This was the Branch Line Society's 'Tyne Tees Wanderer' which involved 47219 and 47375. See this relevant page on the Six Bells Junction website for more details. Copyright: Dave Roberts

26/05/90: 47123 'Jay' at Derby 1607 Great Yarmouth-Liverpool, which it took over from 366 at Norwich. This was to be 123's final passenger working. On this day fellow Tinsley 47121 'Pochard' was on the Birmingham-Yarmouth. 123 lasted until the end of "Speedlink" freight in July 1991, although it had never worked another passenger train by its withdrawl. 23/09/90: 47605 at Carlisle, on a Birmingham New Street to Edinburgh (it worked the service throughout, via Manchester and Shap). The train really was actually booked to be a class 47 throughout, but it was supposed to be the 'Scottish' one that had worked 1V33 - on this day this should have been 47633 but this had been declared defective in the midlands. 29/09/90: 47125 at Great Yarmouth on the Yarmouth-Liverpool, this was intended to be 47454 but for reasons best left off a website a no-heat loco was used on this occasion. Copyright: Andy Barnes

30/09/90: 47489 at Glasgow Central, it hauled this drag to Stafford, via the Glasgow and South Western route and Manchester(!) It worked in tandem with 90005 from Carlisle-Preston, something which bizarly occurred several Sundays running at the time. Copyright: Andy Barnes
