Peter Nicholls' preserved SFJ106R, specific study of restoration during 2007/8

SFJ106R, withdrawn from service as First Devon & Cornwall 38606 in 2004, is now at the Busworks/ Lancastrian Transport Trust's home depot in Blackpool for repanelling and refurbishment.

And the rear - the bus ran well to Blackpool but lost the lower deck window closest to the camera in the Midlands, seemingly shot at by an air-rifle judging by damage to the seat back inside the vehicle.

SFJ106R nearing completion - the rear offside corner panel came from 1121 VDV121S which received a new one when it was restored. This is the first coat of paint, it will be rubbed down and a second coat applied. The reversing sign is also being refitted and will be returned to full working order.
